PUBLISHING PROFESSIONAL | EDITOR | WRITING MENTOR
An English Literature scholar, a voracious reader and an uninhibited writer, Vini is defined by her irrevocable love for words. Her passion for unraveling fascinating stories took her to different creative industries until she found her calling in publishing. She began her professional journey as a copywriting intern in an advertising agency where she composed ad-films scripts and social media campaigns. Then, she got an opportunity to collaborate with high-school students as their writing mentor in a flourishing educational consultancy startup.
During that time, Vini edited diverse Common Application Essays and Statement of Purpose (SOP) to support students in their dream of studying in top Ivy league colleges. She also supervised various creative projects undertaken by high school students for their college applications.

​As an Editor in an esteemed Indian publishing house which publishes fiction and non-fiction best-sellers, she has developed and refined diverse manuscripts ranging from thrillers to children's books.
She has also been a Publishing Lead at Nu Voice Press, the publishing imprint of Hubhawks guided by the bestselling author Kevin Missal where she directed the editorial team through the course of different levels of editing, planned the publishing calendar, managed the authors' communication and supported them end-to-end during the publishing process.
Vini is also passionate about the cause of women empowerment and seeks innovative ways to raise awareness and shape a more progressive society. Through her collaboration with Shakti-Shalini, an NGO that uplifts survivors of domestic violence and promotes gender equality, she has designed and executed various social welfare projects by employing storytelling as a primary tool to critically engage with pertinent social issues.
​​Besides being an avid reader, she is also a theatre performer who loves to weave fascinating narratives, often lost and found in them. She may be an introvert at heart but she can magically transform into a performer when the spotlight is on.
